Shepherd’s Fold Ranch will be hosting a H-U-G-E celebration of 40 years as a summer camp! We want YOU to come help us have a good time looking through old photos, fellowshipping, eating dinner, participating in and watching skits! (Last summer there was a lot of talk on whether the alumni or the current staff had better skits–you won’t want to miss the showdown and joining together of young and older.)
Tulsa Oklahoma Summer Camp Golf Tournament Fundraiser
The Mission
All proceeds from the tournament go to Shepherd’s Fold Ranch, a place in the country where you can do business with God. The Ranch is well known for its beautiful landscape and one of the finest Christian Summer Camps around Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Play
A shot gun start is scheduled for the tournament. The format will be a four person team scramble. Golfers may enter as an individual and be grouped into a foursome.
The Reward
Beyond just supporting a fine non-profit organization and golf tournament, there is also a reward for YOU. Prizes, a fun round of golf, and a chance to mix with other golfers, including business and community leaders from the Tulsa area are among many of the benefits you will be rewarded as a participant in this golf tournament. Also, there is a $10,000 Hole-In-One Cash Prize!
The Place
The golf tournament will be held at Bailey Golf Ranch in nearby Owasso (10105 Larkin Bailey Blvd). Bailey Golf Ranch is one of Oklahoma’s newest and finest public golf facilities.
The Schedule
The tournament will take place on May 11, 2012.
Registration begins at 8:00am and the Shotgun start is at 9:00am.
Lunch, prizes, and trophy awards will begin following the play.

Individual – One Golfer – $125 ($80 tax deductible)
Copper – Hole Sponsor – $250 ($250 tax deductible)
Bronze – One Golfer – $500 ($455 tax deductible)
Silver – Four Golfers – $1,000 ($820 tax deductible)
Gold – Eight Golfers – $1,500 ($1,130 tax deductible)
Platinum – Twelve Golfers – $2,500 ($1,960 tax deductible)
*The price for each golfer includes green fees, cart, tournament souvenirs, chance for prizes, and a tax deductible contribution.

SFR History
Don and Shirley Staires, two visionary pioneers that were looking for a place in the country where kids could do business with God, founded Shepherd’s Fold Ranch in 1972. Over the past 40 years, SFR has hosted over 16,000 campers, providing an environment to encounter the fullness of God. Shepherd’s Fold Ranch is located in northeastern Oklahoma’s rolling hills of Osage County, just 30 minutes north of downtown Tulsa.

Summer Camp Theme Revealed!

Summer camp at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch is all about encountering God by exploring God’s creation, canoeing, hiking, playing epic night games, taking a ride over the pond on our zip line, and many more exciting activities! Combined with Bible studies, worship, prayer, and great counselors, this summer is going to be an Amazing Race!
This summer at SFR, we are going to play fun and challenging games, go swimming, make new friends, and sing crazy songs! Also a part of the race, is encountering God’s love, hearing His voice, and learning to live for God’s kingdom on earth.

SFR Staff Run to Raise Funds to Support Champ Camp
Cody Chaney (Maintenance Manager) and Hope Chitwood (Camp Director) ran the 5k and the 10k races February 11, 2011 in Tulsa’s Sweetheart Run. The run was put on by Fleet Feet as a fundraiser for Champ Camp, a camp for children who have heart conditions. The camp is sponsored by St. Francis Hospital and is hosted at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch each June.
