Meet Our Summer Leadership Team:
Hey there! My name is Hope and I am honored to serve my second year as the Camp Director at Shepherd’s Fold. A little bit about me: I attend LifeChurch.tv in Owasso and serve at Driven, the Wednesday night youth service at Cedar Point Church in Claremore. I graduated from Rogers State University in 2011 with my Bachelor Degree in Business Management. I’ve had the privilege of serving on staff at SFR since 2008 as a counselor, life guard, kitchen staff member, camp coordinator, and assistant director. I first discovered Shepherd’s Fold as a camper at Champ Camp, a camp hosted at Shepherd’s Fold for children with heart abnormalities. I am blessed to be a part of the great things the Lord is doing at Shepherd’s Fold. I can’t think of a better way to spend my summer. I am looking forward to meeting you and your kids at camp!
Brian Cunningham
Furnace Director
Hello, my name is Brian Cunningham. I will be 25 this summer! I started at Shepherd’s Fold back in 2007 and it has been my home since. I have started as a summer camp counselor in the Furnace, and this summer I will be serving as one of the Furnace Director. It has been a fun, exciting, and life changing journey. Right now, I am finishing up my bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from Oklahoma State University. (I’ll be finished in December!) My dream is to always be teaching and developing leaders full-time, whether that’s at Shepherd’s Fold or in the classroom or on a stage speaking to large groups of people. I also have a dream of becoming a famous musician who shares the love of God through the music. Something fun about me is that I LOVE the outdoors and backpacking in the mountains for weeks at a time.
Claire Yinger
Furnace Director
Hello! My name is Claire Yinger. I was a camper for four years and, then, I only dreamed about being on staff. Now, being 23 years old and having worked on staff for six years, I get the privilege to be one of the Furnace Directors. I am originally from Edmond, Oklahoma but I am currently living in Redding, California attending Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry. I am currently doing a third year internship under a pastor in the school, but I would like to eventually, become a worship pastor out here. Long term thinking, I would love to move to Hollywood and influence the influential of the secular world. Until then, I have the privilege of being at camp for another glorious summer with people I love and kids I adore. This place has fully impacted me and formed so much of who I am today. Everywhere I go, people are so impressed with my leadership skills and I give all my thanks to this place, Shepherd’s Fold. To invest and see the fruit of all those hot summers make every moment worth it. I am so excited to meet you and love on your kids!!!
Dana Agee
Support Director
My name is Dana Agee, I am 25 years old, and I was born and raised in Tulsa, OK. I believe that The Fold played a large role in my spiritual development beginning when I was a camper, and has continued throughout my years on staff. I never thought I’d be on staff this long, and I praise God for calling me back each year! I first came here as a camper 10 years ago and I have returned ever summer since—this will be my seventh summer on staff and I am serving my second year as the Support Director. I currently work at Redeemer Covenant Church in the Children’s Ministry Department. I LOVE doing crafty things that make me think outside of the box.
Adriann Anderson
Forerunner Coordinator
My name is Adriann Anderson and I am one of the Forerunner Coordinators this summer. I’m 21 years old and from Bartlesville, OK. Next fall, I will be a senior at the University of Tulsa where I am studying art and art history. I spent the fall semester studying abroad in Siena, Italy. After graduation, I would love to return to Europe as an English teacher. I spent five years as a camper here at SFR before coming onto staff. This is my third summer to work at Shepherd’s Fold. I love the way the Lord continues to use camp and the people here to reveal His love to me.
Eric Pyle
Forerunner Coordinator
My name is Eric Pyle. I am 21 years old and am a junior studying mechanical engineering at the University of Oklahoma. I grew up going to camp at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch and went through the Forerunner program in 2008. I currently live in Norman, OK and attend Norman Community Church. I am super excited to be out at camp this summer and be coordinating the Forerunner program. See you all this summer!
Josh Kunkel
Adventure Coordinator
Hello, my name is Josh Kunkel: 25-year-old Tulsa native and six-year summer staff member at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch. For several years before my time on staff, I attended SFR as I went through grade school and high school, participating in day camp, Treehouse village, western camp, ranch camp, and forerunner. After I graduated from Oral Roberts University with a Bachelor’s degree in History, I continued on to the University of Tulsa where I am currently working as a graduate assistant and studying for my master’s degree. I am hoping to go overseas soon (Scotland is my first choice), but I will always be a Tulsan first and foremost!
Grant Nordean
Worship Coordinator
My name is Grant Nordean. I am 23 and live in Norman, OK. I have been coming to Shepherd’s Fold for 9 years. Since 2008, I have been on staff. This will be my second summer to serve as the Worship Coordinator on the Summer Leadership Team. I’ve spent the last two years at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) – a missional community in Kansas City, MO, which is where I learned the value of singing and making music to God. I recently moved back to Oklahoma (God’s Country), where I am planning on finishing my degree. I work for a DIY guitar pedal company called Mammoth Electronics. It’s pretty great. I love sour candy.
Charlie Gurley
Ranch Camp/ Summit Coordinator
Charlie Gurley here as your Ranch Camp and Summit Coordinator in 2013! Some background information—I am 22 years old, I’m from a small town in northern Oklahoma called Barnsdall, and I am currently a senior at Oklahoma State University. As a young lad I came to Shepherd’s Fold; once to day camp and twice to Treehouse Village. I felt the Lord calling me back to commit to the Furnace in 2010. This will be my fourth summer at SFR, my first summer as a camp coordinator, and I am excited for what the Lord has in store. Cool stuff: my dream is to be an NBA finals MVP for the OKC Thunder! Or in a cool band.
Anna Everett
Treehouse Village Coordinator
Greetings! My name is Anna Everett and I am 19 years old. Originally from Tulsa, I graduated from Metro Christian Academy in 2011, and am now finishing my second year at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. I grew up going to camp at the Ranch ever since I was at day camp. Summer 2013 will be around my 12th year or so… I’ve actually lost count. I first came to camp with a church friend and fell in love with the Lord here and have never looked back. I went through the Forerunner training program for two summers, served as a summer camp counselor for two summers and I am looking forward to my first summer serving on the Summer Leadership Team as the Treehouse Village Coordinator. I am a Health Science Studies major at Baylor with an emphasis in pre-physician assistant. While being the weekly service chair in my sorority, I am also on the leadership team for a student ministry in Waco. I attend the Antioch Community Church plant here. I eventually want to become a physician assistant and possibly travel to work with underprivileged children on their health, while showing them the love of Jesus. One of my hobbies includes hiking in the local park on a sunny day and setting up my hammock with friends and just ‘hanging out.’ God’s creation is just so fascinating! I am so expectant for this summer because we serve a BIG God and I am so honored to be given this opportunity to minister to your children!
Anna Miller
Day Camp Coordinator
Summer is finally here! My name is Anna Miller, I am 24 years old, and this will be my seventh summer spent at Shepherd’s Fold Ranch. (I Love It.) I first came to camp after eighth grade as a Ranch camper and I haven’t left yet! SFR has continually been the place where I fall deeper in love with Jesus and have so much fun with Him! I have been a coordinator for Treehouse Village twice and Forerunner once, and this summer I will be leading Day Camp. Currently I am teaching at Jenks Middle School. (Loving It.) I graduated with my Secondary Science Education degree from Oral Roberts University in May 2012. I secretly have a dream of going to the moon.
Cody Chaney
Facilities Manager
My name is Cody Chaney and I am 25 years old. I am a senior at OSU studying Fire Protection and Safety Technology. I work as an EMT for LifeNet EMS in Payne County, which services Stillwater, Perkins, Morrison, and several other smaller communities. I started coming to SFR in 2004 as a ranch camper and fell in love with the place. I’ve been here ever since and have functioned in many different capacities. I am returning this summer as the Grounds and Facilities Manager. I love Shepherd’s Fold and its mission, and have been blessed to grow and be developed out here. I love working as an EMT and I love music. I aim to contribute to SFR being a place in the country where people can come do business with God as long as I am able. God bless you.
