Ron is a past SFR camper and staff member. After serving in the Army as a Green Beret for five years, he co-founded three defense companies in which he utilized his entrepreneurial spirit and set the vision that grew these companies to 50+ employees and were ultimately sold to private equity. Ron’s participation in Shepherd’s Fold Ranch as a youth developed his sense of adventure and camaraderie. His relationship with God was established when he experienced the Lord and saw others grow in their own relationships with God while at the Ranch.

Hope Chitwood

Hope grew up as a camper of Champ Camp, a camp hosted at Shepherd’s Fold for children with heart abnormalities. “Every summer, I left the Fold feeling different; something about being out here just brought my heart to peace,” she smiled. Hope served as a counselor in 2008 and 2009, Co-Coordinator for Treehouse Village in 2010, one of three Assistant Directors in 2011, and is now serving her second year as the Camp Director. Hope graduated from the Honors Program at Rogers State University with her bachelor’s degree in Business Management in May of 2011. She has been an active member of Cedar Point Church in Claremore since 2009, where she is currently serving as a Co-Huddle (small group) leader for the 7th grade girls.
Daniel Roberts

During the summer of 2004 Daniel joined the Shepherd’s Fold team as a counselor and fell in love with the place. He returned every summer, eventually moving out there upon graduation from Oral Roberts University to fill the role of Camp Director. With a degree in public relations and advertising from ORU, Daniel comes to the Ranch with great experience in outside sales and youth ministry. After leaving the Ranch in 2009 he worked as the senior high youth pastor at First United Methodist before developing his sales acumen with Yellowbook and LivingSocial. He has a passion for people to discover their God given destiny and loves the ministry of Shepherd’s Fold Ranch.
Daniel is married to the incredible Whitney whom he met at camp so many years ago. Whitney works as a nurse in the PEC at St. Francis hospital and spent her summers at camp from when she was a child until 2009. They celebrated their second anniversary in January of 2012, have three dogs named Hector, Laneli, and Francee, and most recently bought their first house in Tulsa. Together they share a heart for kingdom living and inviting others to discover their place in the body of Christ. They enjoy leading summer camps for the Vulnerable Children in South Africa and hope to go back each year.
